I am a freelance graphic designer based just outside Stratford upon Avon in Warwickshire. Specialising in graphic design and illustration for both print and the digital media. I offer high quality and affordable design solutions for small to medium sized businesses in Warwickshire and across the UK. A little bit about me
It’s almost 30 years ago now, since I walked through the doors of a printing company in Stratford upon Avon and started to learn the skills of my trade. Drawing boards, Rotring pens and scalpels were the hardware of the day. The software would have been the ink and cow gum, a type of glue that you could let set, roll it up into a ball and bounce around the office – remember, we didn’t have Social Media back then!!
Anyway… a few years later, the world went digital. Sadly the traditional tools would become redundant, but things did start to get really exciting! Around about that time I moved from the printers to a design agency in Coventry. Shortly after that the web started to take off and I was handed the task of giving the Royal Shakespeare Company an on-line presence. It was a first for them and a fantastic opportunity for me to get in to website design.
I managed thier website for just over three years and I have never looked back. Later I was involved in the marketing of the iconic Hacienda redevelopment for Crosby homes in Manchester.
In 2011 I decided the time was right to work for myself. It was a brave move and one I am very pleased I made.
